EntsWeb Terms of Service

Welcome to EntsWeb. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use EntsWeb.

1. Eligibility and Registration

  • Age Restriction: Only individuals aged 18 years or older may use EntsWeb. By registering, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
  • Registration is required to create an account, post roles, or interact with the platform. Each user is responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of their account credentials.
  • By registering, you agree to provide accurate and complete information and keep it updated.

2. Profiles, Roles, and Content Standards

  • Users may create multiple profiles under one account. Each profile can be made public and may include personal details, work experience, media (images, videos), and other content.
  • You acknowledge and agree that any content you post publicly (including media and role listings) may be viewed by other users and visitors to the platform.
  • You are solely responsible for the content you upload or publish and for ensuring it complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Copyright Responsibility: You must have the necessary copyright or legal rights to use and publish any and all content (including images, videos, text, and other media) you upload or share on EntsWeb. EntsWeb takes no responsibility for copyright infringement by users.
  • Content Removal: EntsWeb takes no responsibility for copyright infringement, and reserves the right to remove any content for any reason at any time, without prior notice.
  • Prohibited Content: You must not upload, post, or share any content (including in profiles or roles) that is:
    • Sexual or pornographic in nature
    • Racist, hateful, or discriminatory
    • Inciting violence or illegal activity
    • Slanderous or defamatory
    • Infringing on copyright or intellectual property rights
    • Otherwise inappropriate or harmful

3. Moderation and Safeguarding

  • EntsWeb actively moderates profiles and roles to help prevent child abuse, manipulation, modern slavery, and other forms of exploitation.
  • We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive environment with safeguarding measures in mind.
  • We reserve the right to remove any content we deem inappropriate at any time, without prior warning.
  • We may delete accounts at our sole discretion, especially in cases of repeated or severe violations.

4. Roles and Productions

  • Profiles may create jobs (roles), which can be linked to productions (projects) containing multiple roles.
  • Roles are free to publish, but require an active GoCardless payment mandate before they can be made public.
  • Roles must not be used for unlawful, exploitative, or discriminatory purposes. EntsWeb reserves the right to remove or suspend roles that violate this policy.
  • No roles, jobs or roles may be posted for anyone under the age of 18.

5. Billing, Invoicing, and Payments

  • Profiles are billed per application received for their posted roles. The current rate is £0.10 per application, which may be updated with 30 days' notice.
  • Users must set up a GoCardless Direct Debit mandate during registration to allow EntsWeb to collect payments for invoices automatically.
  • Invoices are generated monthly and cover all applications received during that period across all active profiles under the user’s account.
  • Payments are collected automatically on the 1st of the following month. If a payment fails, we will retry up to three (3) times over the next three days. If payment is still not completed, your role(s) may be suspended until payment is received.
  • Each profile may manage its own billing and invoicing, independent of other profiles under the same user account.
  • EntsWeb is not liable for any loss of business, revenue, or reputation resulting from payment issues or account suspension.

6. Mandate and Consent

  • By setting up a GoCardless mandate, you authorize EntsWeb to collect undisclosed amounts based on the number of applications received, as reflected in your invoice.
  • You agree that payments may vary each month depending on the volume of applications received and that these charges will be deducted automatically under the mandate agreement.

7. User Responsibilities

  • You are solely responsible for:
    • The security of your account.
    • Managing and maintaining your profiles.
    • The accuracy of your job listings and content.
    • Complying with applicable laws regarding employment and job postings.
  • You may not:
    • Use another user’s account without permission.
    • Circumvent billing mechanisms.
    • Upload harmful or inappropriate content.

8. Platform Responsibility and Security

  • EntsWeb will take reasonable steps to ensure the digital security and integrity of your account and data.
  • However, EntsWeb is not responsible for any third-party access caused by your negligence or unauthorized sharing of your credentials.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • All claims or disputes arising from your use of EntsWeb will be governed by the laws of England and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
  • EntsWeb is not liable for any loss of business, revenue, or reputation resulting from use of the platform, account suspension, or content removal.

10. Termination

  • EntsWeb reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:
    • Violate these Terms;
    • Fail to maintain an active GoCardless mandate;
    • Engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior.
  • We may delete accounts or remove content at our sole discretion, without prior notice.

11. Modifications

  • EntsWeb may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform.
  • Continued use of the platform after changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. GDPR and International Users

If you are located in the UK, EU, or another country with data protection regulations, EntsWeb processes your personal data in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR.

Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data

We process your data based on one or more of the following legal grounds:

  • Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Our contractual obligations (e.g., providing services or billing).
  • Our legal obligations (e.g., tax, accounting, or fraud prevention).
  • Our legitimate interests in operating and improving our services.
International Data Transfers

We may store or process your data outside the UK, including in countries that may not have the same level of data protection. In such cases, we take appropriate steps (e.g. standard contractual clauses) to ensure your data is protected under UK/EU laws.

Your GDPR Rights

If you are a UK or EU resident, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Correct or delete your data.
  • Restrict or object to how we use your data.
  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
